A Nature and Conservation Sanctuary

At Providencia, we work toward a sweeter, renewable, and sustainable future, preserving a natural legacy for future generations. We share this commitment through the Providencia Ecological Park, located in the Río Amaime Forest Reserve and the Piedechinche Estate (Sugarcane Museum).

Protected Hectares

We protect 414 hectares in Palmira, Valle del Cauca, conserving water sources, birds, and flora.

Mobile Nurseries

We have implemented mobile nurseries to regenerate endemic species such as the Wax Palm and the Black Cedar.

Wildlife Monitoring

We work in collaboration with the Calidris Association to research and protect the Cauca Guan (Penelope perspicax – EN).
